For 24 years, I did everything an IT leader in a corporation does. I managed teams in 26 countries. I integrated IT after mergers.
I negotiated contracts with vendors. I defended budgets before boards. I modernized 20-year-old systems without interrupting business operations. I built technology strategies that had to work for 5 years.
And I learned one thing: the best technical solution is one that supports the business. In 2021, I completed an MBA in IT Management because I wanted to formally combine what I had been doing for years in practice: technology with finance and strategy.
